One of My Top Sleep Hacks – Blue Blockers

I don’t always wear glasses at night…but when I do they’re blue blockers!?

I’ve been using blue blocking glasses for quite some time now, and thought I’d share one of my favorite sleep hacks.

A big reason why many people suffer from sleep ailments is that they’re being exposed to a tremendous amount of artificial light right before bed; for example: TV, Ipad, Computer, Cell phone, room lights, etc.

It takes your body about 2 hours to start naturally producing melatonin after you’ve been exposed to blue light in the evening.

Blue blocking glasses are made specifically to block out blue light, which are the specific wavelengths proven to suppress the body’s natural production of melatonin, the sleep-promoting hormone.

By wearing these glasses for at least an hour before bed, you can filter out harmful artificial light which can make sleep more difficult.

This allows you to use phones, tablets, computers and e-readers freely and enjoy non-disrupted restorative sleep every night.

But it’s hard to find legitimate blue blocking glasses that really do the trick because most on the market are little more than ineffective yellow-tinted glare glasses or ballistic safety goggles.

I’ve been using the new Swannies now for the past week and have been experiencing nights of solid deep sleep! Waking up completely refreshed! These are top of the line and in fact the only FDA registered blue blocking glasses! ?

Thank you @jamesswanwick for the Swannies Blue Blocking Glasses! ?
