Himalayan Sea Salt

I love biohacking and one of the simplest ways to get an immediate boost in energy is to add about a half a teaspoon of pink Himalayan sea salt to a glass of water and knock it back.

After I do this I feel a significant increase in energy and mood within about 20 minutes. In fact, I sprinkle sea salt to every glass of water I drink.

I buy sea salt by the kilo (I gots the hook up! #WalterWhite), and take a vial with me when I travel.

When I wake up in the morning I immediately drink a half a tsp with warm water and it gets my adrenals pumping right away.

After a workout I sometimes drink a glass with up to a full tsp. I know some people say, “oh my goodness all that sodium!!!”, but understand there is a huge difference between standard table salt and Himalayan pink sea salt. This type of salt is loaded with essential minerals. Sodium is an essential part of diet and if you eat very clean then you don’t have to worry about the issues from the harmful salt intake anyways.
